Patna (Bihar): A mother and her daughter were allegedly murdered by slitting their throats in Gabtal area of Danapur district on Saturday.
The mother was identified as Sima Devi and daughter is Tilottama Devi.
The son of Sima who is a Bank employee in Ranchi said that he was trying to contact his mother for the last two days but they did not receive his call. On Friday morning when he came to meet them at their home, he found that the house was locked from outside.
"I broke the lock and when I entered the house, I found my mother and sister dead," the son said.
He immediately informed the police about the incident.
According to the FSL team, the hands of the Tilottama was tied at the time of the murder.
Police have started the investigation and registered a case of murder.
