It is a determination, a promise, security and above all, we have to dedicate ourselves for a big aim.

This was stated by Pundit Nehru during a meeting to approve the constitution to achieve its aims through a resolution in Dec 1946.

Unmindful of civil disobedience and Sathyagraha, Ambedkar rang warning bells that devotion and blind following in politics lead to dictatorship.

He clarified that political democracy will be in danger if equality was denied for a long time. Citizens and the governments have to strictly abide by constitutional values for that. Rulers have to keep in mind the fact that there is no other big insult than poverty as true progress is possible when poor are involved in the development process.

People are real kings of the Constitution who wrote "We the people of India." Constitutional spirit can be safeguarded by rooting out corruption efficiently, shouldering responsibilities with commitment and protecting civil rights.
