Bhopal: Abdul Jabbar fought to make the life of victims of 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy better.
He opened a gas relief hospital by fighting a long battle for the treatment of more than 5 lakh gas scandal victims.
Abdul Jabbar, who fought for the betterment of the victims of the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, will be posthumously awarded the Padma Shri.
During his last days, he could not get better treatment. It is the apathy of our system that the person who fought the system all his life to provide better treatment to others, himself became witness to the negligence of the system.
Even if Abdul Jabbar could not get better treatment at the last moment, now the government is going to give him that honour.
The entire country will remember him forever.
