Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh): A passenger bus carrying migrant workers, who were returning to Kadipur in Uttar Pradesh's Sultanpur district, collided with a truck leaving 17 people injured on Tuesday.
The accident took place at the Tatiya Nagar roundabout in Sultanpur on the Lucknow - Ballia expressway when the bus crashed into a loose rock-laden truck.
The injured were rushed to the district hospital where they are receiving treatment. But owing to the shortage of beds, the injured were made to lie down on the hospital floor.

District collector C Indumati and police officer Shiv Hari Meena from Gossainganj police station reached the spot.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
