Dispur (Assam): Police and security forces are yet to reveal information on Ritul Saikia—one of the three employees of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC)—allegedly abducted by the United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) last week. Though ULFA (I) has not claimed responsibility for the abductions, police said they have enough information to prove the involvement of the armed separatist organisation.
In a joint operation, the Indian Army and the Assam Rifles troops had on Friday successfully rescued the two other ONGC employees—Mohini Mohan Gogoi and Alakesh Saikia.
