New Delhi: Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma on Thursday said the investigation into the attack on a junior doctor in Hojai district will be completed in 20 days.
Addressing a press conference in Assam House in Delhi, Sharma said, "We have nabbed all the culprits and the investigation will be completed in 15-20 days time".

"The charge sheet will be filed immediately and the government will try its best to get the guilty convicted in the shortest possible time after observing all judicial process.
Dr Seuj Kumar Senapati, a young doctor, was brutally beaten and thrashed by people with utensils and brooms on Tuesday. The doctor was posted at COVID Care Centre (CCC) in Udali in Assam’s Hojai district. Protests are being held across the state to condemn the attack on the doctor.

On Wednesday, the Assam branch of the Indian Medical Association directed all doctors to stop outdoor patient services.
