Bhopal: The name of actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been dragged into the political rhetoric that started in Madhya Pradesh regarding the Jandarshan Yatra of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. When the Congress raised questions about the Jandarshan Yatra, state Home Minister Narottam Mishra retaliated saying that “our Chief Minister only goes for public darshan, whereas their Chief Minister used to visit Jacqueline”.
Hitting back at the Congress, Mishra said that "this is the difference between the Chief Minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the former Chief Minister Kamal Nath”.
“Shivraj goes to meet the public as part of the Jandarshan, while he (Kamal Nath) seldom met the people,” he said. "Just recently, Kamal Nath went to Barwani and went to the stage for just 10 minutes. Whereas, our Chief Minister moves among the public. Top Congress leaders move around only in Bhopal and Delhi.”

Madhya Pradesh Urban Administration Minister Bhupendra Singh also targeted the Congress and said that since there is a by-election, there will be programmes. Stating that his party's people and the Chief Minister will go to meet the people, he asked why the Congress was having stomach cramps over this.
Actually, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath had raised questions about Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Jan Aashirwad Yatra and said that the Chief Minister is only going to places where by-elections are being held to meet the people. According to Kamal Nath, Chouhan should go to the tribal areas where several incidents have happened in the recent past and people there are looking forward to meet him.
