Ananatapur (Andhra Pradesh): A 34-year-old man died while rescuing two children from drowning here in Yadiki canal.
The man, identified as Hanumantha Reddy, was working on a farm when he saw the children going towards the canal. The children went swimming in the canal and got trapped in a vortex suddenly.
Seeing this he jumped into the canal and saved the children. Unfortunately, he was trapped into the vortex and died.
He is survived by wife and two children.
