145 people of K'taka village test Corona positive

In Abnali village of Belagavi district, Karnataka, out of 300 villagers, 145 have tested positive for Coronavirus leading to panic among the village folk.

Belagavi (Karnataka): Near half the population of an entire village in Belagavi district in Karnataka have tested positive for coronavirus.

Abanali village has a population of 300 people and 145 people of the village have tested positive, leading to panic among villagers.

After many had fever and shortness of breath, random tests were performed at Primary Health Center, where 145 people have tested positive for coronavirus.

Migrant workers who had visited Maharashtra and Goa were among the people who tested positive for Covid-19.

The District is collecting information on the travel history of the infected. Officials have advised all those who are infected to stay in home quarantine.

The district administration is preparing to contain the entire village.
