Alwar: Rajasthan police have arrested fourteen people for allegedly attacking farmer leader Rakesh Tikait's convoy in Rajasthan's Alwar on Friday. Police said a case has been registered against fourteen people for showing black flags to the Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson and attacking his vehicle.
The prime accused, identified as Kuldeep Yadav, spearheaded the attack and showed black flags to Tikait at Tataarpur chowk in Alwar and protested against him.
As per the officials, Tikait was on his way to Banasur road when his convoy was attacked by a few people who pelted stones on his car. The men used rods too. However, Tikait was safe and did not get any injury.
"A case has been filed against relevant sections of Indian Penal Code and all the accused were in police custody on Friday night. They will be presented in the court today," a police official said.

Tikait, on his Twitter handle, shared the video of his car whose window glass was smashed and accused the BJP of the attack. He alleged that the BJP men were behind the attack.
He said, "Attacked by BJP's goons in Rajasthan's Alwar district's Tataarpur square at Bansur Road. Pics of murder of democracy."
His supporters called for a jam to protest against the incident and hence a huge police force was deputed in the area. Tikait was shifted in another car after the incident.

Before commencing his journey on the highway, Tikait addressed a rally in Alwar's Harsoli Area wherein he urged people to voice against the recently enacted farm laws.
