Moscow: While thwarting attacks by the armed opposition group and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham on Hama province, the Syrian Army killed at least 140 terrorists.
Major General Viktor Kupchishin, Commander of the Russian Centre for Syrian Reconciliations said that around 500 terrorists with armoured vehicles and tanks attacked Syrian Army positions near Jabin and Tal Melh towns in the province. The fights last for two days between June 6 and June 7.
"While repelling the attack, Syrian government forces killed over 120 terrorists and destroyed five tanks, three IFV, nine off-road vehicles, a multiple-launch rocket system and two mortars," Kupchishin added.
On June 7, armed opposition group from Idlib launched an offensive near the towns of Karnaz and Hamamiyat.
The Idlib Province is designated as a de-escalation zone in Syria, but it stills has at least 30,000 gunmen.
