Gongyi, Henan province: At least six people were reported missing after a freight train derailed in the central Chinese city of Gongyi, state media said on Thursday.
The train carrying aluminum ore damaged a house when it went off track late Wednesday, local media reported.
Four crew members and two villagers were among the missing, Gongyi City authorities said in an online post.
Footage from local media showed a crushed locomotive and damaged carriages at the site of the incident.
