Islamabad: Amid the escalating tensions between New Delhi and Islamabad over the splitting Jammu and Kashmir, Indian High Commission in Pakistan has asked authorities to tighten security around its premises, media reported on Tuesday.
Various organizations held protests outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, condemning the scrapping of Article 370.
This comes a day after the Indian government scrapped Article 370 of the constitution, along with Article 35 (A) in the Rajya Sabha that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir and split it into two union territories Ladakh and J&K.
On Monday, Pakistan had summoned Indian High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria over the abrogation of Article 370.
Rattled by New Delhi's decisions, Islamabad said to exercise "all possible options" to counter the steps.
