Hyderabad: The coronavirus pandemic has infected more than 4,58,98,590 and killed over 11,93,744 people across the world. More than 3,32,48,821 people have recovered so far.
The US is the worst-hit nation with cases more than 93,16,297 and fatalities over 2,35,159. US public health experts say the nation’s response to the crises has been marked by grave missteps and missed opportunities.
India is in the second position with cases more than 81,36,166 and dead over 1,21,681. India’s trajectory is moving toward the worst-hit country, the United States, which has over 8.8 million cases.
But health experts warn that mask and distancing fatigue is setting in and can lead to a fresh wave of infections.
