Florida: An infant manatee was rescued off the coast of Florida on Saturday after being separated from its mother.
The Dolphin Research Center's Manatee Rescue Team and the Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder unit used a net to corral the calf and scoop it from the waters.
The manatee was spotted along a dock at a private residence, according to the Florida Keys News Bureau.
Owners reported the sighting to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
