Birmingham, Alabama: Aircraft from the 187th Fighter Wing based out of Dannelly Field in Montgomery, Alabama and the 117th Air Refueling Wing based out of Birmingham, Alabama conducted flyovers on Tuesday.
Alabama National Guard conducts refueling salute for medics
The mid-air mission was a salute to health care workers, first responders, essential employees and others serving to support COVID-19 response efforts.
The operational training missions were part of the nationwide Air Force Salutes flyover under Operation American Resolve.
