Colombia: Hundreds of Venezuelans were seen crossing into the Colombian border town of Cucuta on Thursday, as the crisis over the entry of humanitarian aid into the troubled country has stalled.

Hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans have fled to neighbouring Colombia, as the nation's food and medical shortages have been worsening.

Over the weekend, the country's opposition, led by Juan Guaido who declared himself the rightful president of Venezuelan in January, failed in its attempt to deliver several hundred tons of US-supplied humanitarian aid into the country after security forces loyal to Maduro fired tear gas at protesters.

At least two trucks were set on fire and four people were killed.

Edgar Carpacho, a Venezuelan making his way to Colombia said that he was tired of suffering.

Referring to international intervention, he said if "we can change the politics of the country, let them help us but not with blood."

Carlos Gutierrez, another Venezuelan, said he was going to Colombia to find work, and urged the embattled President Nicolas Maduro to allow the entry of humanitarian aid into the country.
