Phoenix: Three people died and three firefighters were seriously injured after a pickup truck and a fire engine collided at a west Phoenix intersection in Arizona.
Phoenix police said that a man in the truck was pronounced dead at the scene while a woman and a 6-month-old child were pronounced dead at a hospital.

The police didn't release the names of the deceased and it wasn't immediatedly clear if the three deceased were related to each other.
The fire engine was responding to an emergency call when the crash happened, but no other details were immediately released, said police adding that three firefighters were hospitalised in stable condition.
