Washington: Former CIA agent Jerry Chung Shing Lee pleaded guilty in federal court on Wednesday to spying for China.
Lee, 54, left the CIA in 2007 after which he settled in Hong Kong, where he met the Chinese intelligence officials in 2010 and was recruited.
Thousands of dollars were deposited in Lee's Hong Kong bank account between May 2010 and December 2013.
