Khartoum: After months of political crisis, Sudan is now on the way of reaching a power-sharing agreement between country's ruling military council and its pro-democracy protesters.
Both sides have agreed to form a joint military and civilian sovereign council to lead the country for a transition period of three years and three months.
The 11-member-joint council will include five civilians representing protest movement and five military members and 11th seat will go to a civilian chosen by both sides.
The Declaration of Freedom and Change (FDFC), a coalition which represents protesters said that a cabinet of ministers of national competencies will be formed by FDFC.
The agreement includes that the Legislative Council will be postponed to be formed after the Council of Sovereignty and the cabinet.
A joint technical committee of legal experts has been formed with the participation of African experts to finish its work within 48 hours from Saturday morning until the political agreement is reached.
