Maputo: Search and rescue operations continue in Mozambique after cyclone Idai hit the South African nation.
The death toll due to the cyclone is more than 750 in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi and is expected to rise further.
On Sunday, a woman, who was part of a group isolated in a village near the Buzi river, was rescued by Portuguese marines.
Ten days after the fierce rains and winds roared in, the rescue happened with the help of an Indian navy helicopter operating under the umbrella of the United Nations.

The "Fuzileiros", the Portuguese Marines, are part of the rapid response taskforce sent by the Portuguese government to support the search and rescue operations in the Beira region of Mozambique.
