Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Adah Sharma is currently savouring the enormous success of her most recent release The Kerala Story. The actor has also received praise for her strong performance in the movie. Amid rave reviews, Adah reportedly met with a road accident on Sunday.
The reports further claim that director Sudipto Sen also suffered injuries. The Kerala Story crew was supposed to go to Karimnagar in Telangana to join the Hindu Ekta Yatra. However, the event was cancelled after they met with the accident. Meanwhile, on Sunday night, Adah took to her social media handle to share her health update.
Taking to Twitter, Adah thanked her followers for their concern. The actor said that everyone from the team was doing fine. She tweeted, "I'm fine guys . Getting a lot of messages because of the news circulating about our accident. The whole team, all of us are fine, nothing serious, nothing major but thank you for the concern."
Director Sudipto also tweeted regarding the matter and said that they were unable to attend the event because of a 'medical emergency'. He wrote on Twitter, "Thank u so much for ur concerns about our health. We are overwhelmed with ur calls & warm messages. Just wanted to tell u - we r now absolutely fine. Tom we'll resume our promotional events. Pls continue supporting us. Love & light."
Meanwhile, The Kerala Story, which narrates the story of Hindu women who were trafficked to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and converted to Islam, just crossed the Rs 100 crore box office milestone. The movie has been unstoppable at the box office ever since its release on May 5.
