The movie has currently earned over Rs 122.25 crore in India and is very close to earning Rs 250 crore globally.

The highest occupancy for the movie was in Tamil with 26.67%, followed by 14.63% in Malayalam, 12.59% in Telugu, and 7.91% in Hindi. The movie has been doing well overseas, with a strong foreign weekend, bringing in over 3.5 million dollars, according to a tweet by Madras Talkies, Ratnam's production company.
