Kochi (Kerala): Lokesh Kanagaraj, the director of Thalapathy Vijay's latest release Leo, encountered an injury during his promotional tour in Kerala. His visit to Aroma Theater in Palakkad attracted a massive crowd, leading to a stampede in which Lokesh Kanagaraj got injured.
Despite the security arrangements made by the movie's Kerala distributors, Gokulam Movies, the enthusiastic fans rushed past all restrictions, resulting in the director's leg injury. Following the injury, Lokesh decided to cancel his scheduled theater visits to Thrissur Ragam Theater and Kochi Kavita Theater for the day, as well as postpone a press conference in Kochi.

In appreciation of the overwhelming response from fans in Kerala, Lokesh Kanagaraj had planned to visit theaters across the state on October 24.
In a post on social media, the director expressed his gratitude to the people of Kerala and conveyed his intention to return to meet them soon. He mentioned a minor injury sustained during the crowd's excitement, which prevented him from attending the other venues and the press meeting. Lokesh Kanagaraj's message was accompanied by a photo of him with fans at a theater in Palakkad, Kerala.
