In an interview with the media, Avinash explained that wedding photography is a different game. He said, "There are excellent wedding photographers doing impressive work. I don't actually do that as such. I only do that when I have a personal connection and I visit to take some fun portraits and other such shots. So Saif and Bebo, I did not do the full wedding, they wanted me to do that one portrait because that outfit is the same outfit that Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore had worn and Sharmila ji’s mother-in-law and Mansoor Ali Khan’s father had worn. So it's the third generation wearing the same outfit and that pose also we recreated."

Kareena was donning a traditional crimson sharara. Saif could be seen wearing a turban and a sherwani in white and gold. Avinash said that Saif and Kareena wanted to do the same pose again. He said, "Saif and Bebo told me that they want the same thing. For me, the shoot was quite exciting. We shot it at Taj and the way they carried it, it's only a memory now. It's a beautiful portrait image. It was of that royalty that we were attempting to recreate and there was absolutely no effort put into that."
