Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt in a recent interview with the media spoke about her five-month-old daughter Raha Kapoor. The actor reminisced on her experiences as a new mother, calling those 'the busiest' two years of her life, both personally and professionally, and describing herself as a 'control freak'. Alia, who is wed to the actor Ranbir Kapoor, also spoke about balancing parenthood and work as well as the attention she received from her recent weight loss.
During the interview, Alia said that contrary to what many people think, she did not 'unnaturally' lose her postpartum weight. The actor made it clear that since she's breastfeeding, she was not taking any chances and exerting pressure on herself to return to her pre-pregnancy physique. In addition, she said, "I know everyone thinks I dropped weight unnaturally, but I can't even get my wisdom tooth extracted right now since I'm breastfeeding and can't be given anaesthesia. I didn't put myself under any pressure."

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their baby girl on November 6, 2023. Last year, Alia was seen in four films, including RRR and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, her first-ever film with Ranbir Kapoor. This year, she will appear alongside Ranveer Singh in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and in her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone, co-starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Meanwhile, Alia is all set to make her Met Gala debut this year at the event to be held next month.
