Ahmednagar (Maharashtra): It's a question which Prime Minister Narendra Modi wouldn't be happy to respond, yet Anisha Patil (10) tossed pointedly: "When will you become the President of India?"
Anisha, daughter of Dr. Sujay Vikhe Patil, a BJP Lok Sabha MP from Ahmednagar constituency and granddaughter of veteran Maharashtra leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, is a die-hard admirer and always wanted to meet PM Modi.
A few weeks ago when she expressed her desire to her father he said the Prime Minister may not grant an appointment as he's always busy. With no other option left, Anisha herself sent a mail to Modi seeking an appointment, to which the PM responded positively.
On Thursday Anisha met PM Modi briefly and interacted with him. In the course of interaction, Anisha popped up with a question to Modi, "You are from Gujarat, so when will you become the President of India?" This led to PM Modi and others present on the occasion burst into laughter.
