Meerut (Uttar Pradesh): Sardar Kaur (100) who along with five other family members had tested positive for Covid19, have recovered fully from the deadly viral infection.
The elderly woman, a resident of Baghpat had contracted the infection when she went to her village to cast her vote.
The woman's son Dhrishtadyumna Singh said that the infection spread to all the members of the family.

In what could be termed inspiring, the family members did not lose hope though the initial 15-days after having tested positive were distressing. They say it is Sardar Kaur's strong willpower, self-confidence and positivity that motivated them to fight the Coronavirus.
"I have won this battle due to active lifestyle, confidence and positive thinking. During the treatment, I did not let myself become weak and also encouraged the family members at the same time," Sardar Kaur says.

It was on 15 May, that the report of everyone including Sardar Kaur had tested negative.
