Ernakulam: Actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi's statement will be recorded in connection with the Kodakara black money case soon.
He has been summoned by police to find out whether the money was used for election purposes.
However, it hasn't been clarified as to when his statement would be recorded.

As per reports, police have also found that Dharmarajan and others, who brought the money, travelled to the BJP Election Committee Office in Thrissur.
Gopi had contested as the BJP candidate from Thrissur constituency.
