Jamshedpur: A 28-year-old man allegedly committed suicide in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur district on Friday evening.
The victim has been identified as Ashish, an employee in the Tata Motors Limited, Jamshedpur.
According to the reports, the employee had been in the tension of losing his job due to a decline in automobiles industry in the past 6 months.
Meanwhile, superintendent of police Subash Chandra said that the deceased was married a year ago and had quarelled with his wife before committing suicide.
"It may be possible that the deceased was tensed due to the insecurity in his job. We are investigating the matter, and possibly we will crack down the case in the next 24 hours", added SP.
Automobile sales in India witnessed its sharpest decline in nearly 19 years in July, dropping 18.71 per cent, rendering almost 15,000 workers jobless over the past two-three months as the sector reels under a prolonged slump, auto industry body SIAM reported on Tuesday.
