Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A case has been registered on Friday against BJP leader Durgesh Yadav alias Twinkle Sah for allegedly threatening the eye-witness in the murder of Congress leader Raju Mishra.
The officials claimed that the BJP leader must have a good connection with the prime accused Vijay Yadav and were trying to save him by threatening the eye-witness of the case.
The Congress leader was murdered in January. After that the accused was absconded from the state, since then, the gangster was under surveillance.
Also, a photo went viral in which the gangster was seen with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP MP Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Union Minister Smriti Irani.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the BJP leader in Lordgang police station for allegedly threatening the eye-witness, Jabalpur and further investigation is underway, said, Assistant Sub-Inspector R S Marvi.
The Congress leader Raju Mishra was shot dead by unidentified on January 5, when he was walking on the road near his house in Jabalpur.
