Hyderabad: Nalini Sriharan, one of the convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, has been released on a month's leave from the Vellore central prison on Thursday.
She has been granted the parole to make arrangements for her daughter's wedding.
Nalini has been in prison for more than 27 years.
She was initially given a death sentence for her involvement in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, but was later given life imprisonment by the Tamil Nadu government.
