Collegium approves elevation of three new Judges for Gauhati High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the proposal for elevation of Advocate- Soumitra Saikia, Judicial Officer- Parthivjyoti Saikia, Judicial Officer- S. Hukato Swu as judges of Guwahati High Court.

Guwahati: The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 15 October 2019 has approved the proposal for elevation of three persons as Judges of Gauhati High Court.

These names are as follows:

1. Shri Soumitra Saikia, Advocate
2. Shri Parthivjyoti Saikia, Judicial Officer
3. Shri S. Hukato Swu, Judicial Officer.

Based on the official notification, this decision was made after taking into consideration the material on record.
