Alappuzha: A 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Kerala's Alappuzha district on Wednesday night. Abhimanyu, a native of Vallikunnam in Kayamkulam was impaled to death during the Padayanivettom temple festival, on the occasion of Vishu. He was a class 10 student and was murdered by a group of four members.

The CPM has accused the RSS of the murder and held a hartal in Vallikkunnam today. According to reports, the gang came in search of Abhimanyu's brother Ananthu. However, in a clash that broke out, Abhimanyu was murdered.
Meanwhile, the police have identified the prime culprit in the case and took two of his relatives into custody in connection with the murder. The officials came to the conclusion that the 15-year-old was killed by Sajay Dutt, an RSS-Yuvamorcha worker. Even, Sajay’s brother and father have been summoned to the police station for questioning.

The investigating team is yet to confirm whether it is a politically motivated murder or not. The police said they cannot confirm the same just on the basis of a preliminary investigation. The FIR and inquest proceedings have been completed. Currently, the family members of the prime accused are being questioned by the officials.
