Know the 12 banks to be functional after merger deal

Here is the list of all the 12 banks which will be functional after the completion of the proposed merger process as announced by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced proposals to merge 10 banks into four entities. Once these mergers are complete the number of public sector banks would be reduced from the existing 27 to 12. Here is the list.

5. State Bank of India
6. Bank of Baroda
7. Bank of India
8. Central Bank of India
