New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday will dedicate Indo- Russia Rifles Pvt Limited, a joint venture between India's ordinance factory and Russian firm in Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. This joint venture will also give a tremendous boost to the UP Defence Corridor project.
UP Defence Corridor was inaugurated by the Defence Nirmala Sitharaman at Aligarh on 11 August 2018.

In this joint venture company, the latest series of the iconic Kalashnikov rifles will be made. This in other way will also bolster Centre's 'Make in India' mission. This Korwa ordinance factory will also generate employment opportunities in Amethi and nearby areas.
Prime Minister during the day is also scheduled to address public gathering. Apart from dedicating the joint venture, Prime Minister Modi will also unveil several developmental projects.
