Now, drive home from Hyd airport in Porsche, Lamborghini

The GMR Hyderabad International Airport has started offering luxury cars on a rental basis. According to the company, this is the first of its kind service in the country.

Hyderabad: When you are landing at the Hyderabad International Airport next time, you have one more option to choose from to reach your destination in the city.

According to a press release by the airport operator GMR, the ‘4 Wheel’ counter at the airport has started offering luxury taxis.

Airport passengers are given both the options - chauffeur drive and self-drive and they can book a luxury car even online, said the release.

“Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, Jaguar F Type, Lamborghini Gallardo, Lexus ES 300h, Audi A3 Cabriolet, Mercedes Benz E 250, BMW 3GT, BMW 7 Series, Ford Mustang, Volvo S 60, Maserati Ghibli, Toyota Fortuner, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz to name a few, are just a phone call/click away,” added the release.

The price for a 40-km one-way chauffeur-driven service starts from Rs 1,999 (Corolla Altiz) and can go up to Rs 25,999 (Lamborghini Gallardo).

To get the same service in a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, the passenger has to shell out Rs 16,999.

For Audi A3 Cabriolet or Maserati Ghibli, a passenger needs to pay Rs 6,999.
