New Delhi: LPG marketing companies have increased the price of domestic LPG cylinder refill by Rs 25. With the latest hike, the price of a non-subsidized 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi is now Rs 859.50, reported news agency ANI. New rates are effective from August 17.
According to the available data, the price of LPG cylinder refill went up by around Rs 140 in the last seven months. LPG prices were hiked first by Rs 25 per cylinder on February 4, followed by a Rs 50 per cylinder increase on February 15 and a Rs 25 raise each on February 25 and March 1. On March 31, oil companies reduced the cylinder price by Rs 10 on softening international oil prices. On July 1, the price of the LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 25.50.
