New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman condoled the death of former president Pranab Mukherjee on Monday by saying that India has lost an experienced and seasoned leader.

Pranab Mukherjee died on Monday in an army hospital at the age of 84. He was the 13th president of India from 2012 to 2017 and has presented a total of 8 Union Budgets.

Pranab Mukherjee was an institution who’s five decades in public & political life built bridges: Thakur
