Hyderabad: Economic slowdown has not affected automobile companies from offering discounts and benefits this festive season. Passenger cars and two-wheeler makers are showering discounts and offers to increase customer demand even after the automobile industry suffers from the worst slowdown ever.
In addition to discounts, companies are also launching new models and e-vehicles for this festive season.
Maruti Suzuki had announced benefits of up to ₹1 lakh on its model Baleno. The company also announced that it is reducing the price by ₹5,000 (on ex-showroom price) on selected models, after the announcement of a corporate tax cut.
Tata Motors is offering benefits of up to ₹1.5 lakh and announced it will launch Nexon EV in the fourth quarter of the current fiscal, with price expected to be in the range of Rs 15-17 lakh.
Hyundai Motor India’s benefits go up to ₹95,000, depending on the model and launched a premium sedan model of Elantra.
