Neither Hindus nor Muslims want riots in Hauz Qazi: AAP'S Imran Hussain

Commenting on the temple's vandalization in Hauz Qazi on 30 June, AAP MLA & Delhi Minister Imran Hussain said neither Hindus nor Muslims want riots in the area.

New Delhi: After the Durga Temple in Old Delhi's Qazi reopened on Wednesday following the vandalisation by a mob on June 30, Aam Aadmi Party MLA and Delhi's Food & Supply Minister Imran Hussain said Muslim and Hindu brothers have "hugged" each other, and neither of the communities wants riots in Hauz Qazi.

"Muslim and Hindu sat down together that night at the police station and hugged. I was also present there. Neither Hindus nor Muslims wants riots here," Hussain told Media.
