Bhubaneshwar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik boosted the morale of the Indian Women's hockey team today. India went down fighting 4-3 against Great Britain in today's Bronze medal match. In a video call with the women's hockey team post their game, CM Naveen Patnaik said, "Girls you have worked hard and played well. You lost the game but have won over a billion hearts".

Congratulating the women's team, CM Patnaik said that he will meet them upon their arrival in Bhubaneswar on August 17. Thanking the Chief Minister, Rani Rampal, the skipper of the superb India women's hockey team, thanked the Odisha government for their help during the team's incredible journey.
