Srinagar (J&K): Security forces on Monday recovered at least six grenades from Srinagar's Bemina area, officials said.
The explosives were found inside a suspicious bag near Police Public School in the area.
"About half a dozen grenades were recovered near the CRPF's Quick Action Team (QAT) bunker in Bemina today," Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) spokesperson Abhiram told ETV Bharat.
The official further added that the bomb disposal squad had raised suspicion of something being buried in the area.

"It appears someone had hidden the grenades there in the wake of the strict checking at the checkpoints. Further investigations are underway," he said.
