New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, on Saturday, launched a veiled attack on media alleging that it had portrayed an image of Dr Manmohan Singh as a "weak" and "useless" Prime Minister during the Mumbai attacks as compared to what was being said about PM Narendra Modi at the time of Pulwama attacks, sources informed.
It is being learnt that Rahul Gandhi has alleged during his address at NSUI National Executive Meet that China has encroached Indian territory as much as the land in Delhi.
Media termed former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as useless when Mumbai terrorist attacks happened, but it called Prime Minister Narendra Modi as fearless after Pulwama attack. Media will be left useless the day we decide to go to the public directly, Rahul Gandhi reportedly said.
He also attacked the Central government alleging it of destroying the informal sector in the country, increase of unemployment, privatization in education sector, and many others. Sources informed that Gandhi also talked about reservation for women claiming that some like-minded parties did not give support to Congress due to which they were not being able to raise this demand in a proper manner.
