New Delhi: Opposition parties, on Tuesday, took out a protest march from Gandhi Statue, of Parliament, to Vijay Chowk demanding the Government to sack Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra Teni in connection with Lakhimpur Kheri incident.
While addressing the media, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, "Once again the opposition is raising the Lakhimpur incident. A minister's son killed farmers, the report has called it a conspiracy, not an isolated incident. PM Modi doesn't do anything about it. You (Modi) apologize to farmers, but do not remove the minister. We will not spare him (Ajay Mishra); today or tomorrow, he will be sent to jail."
Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi also slammed the Government, saying, "People of this country are not fools. They are watching. Those MPs who were speaking about the demands of the farmers, stand suspended today and the man with a pre-planned conspiracy who killed the farmers, continues to be at the post of a Minister today. That is the stark difference between the Opposition and the Government."

CPI MP Binoy Viswam said, "Government is protecting its Minister. This is the Government of Shame and brutality."
Chaturvedi and Viswam are among the 12 Rajya Sabha MPs who have been suspended for the entire Winter Session of Parliament.
Biswam also attacked the Government over the passage of the Election Law Bill in Lok Sabha yesterday, saying "The way in which this bill was introduced and passed in Lok Sabha speaks a lot about this Government. This Government has no regards for the democratic norms."
While speaking over the matter, Congress RS MP KC Venugopal said, "They are bulldozing the bills. This Parliamentary procedure is totally unacceptable. We are asking to send it for Select committee."

"No matter how much numbers they have, they don't believe in democracy. Election Law Bill is such an important bill. That should be discussed thoroughly in the Select Committee. That should not have been passed in such a manner," alleged TMC MP Dola Sen.
Samajwadi Party MP Vishambar Prasad Nisad took a dig at the Center saying, "Bhajpa Sarkar kisano ke khilaf jeebh chalati hai, jeep chadhati hai (The BJP Government speaks against farmers, as well as quashes them under jeeps)."
Meanwhile, Congress MP Jasbir Singh Gill accused the BJP of plotting a conspiracy in Punjab in view of the upcoming Assembly elections, as recently two incidents of sacrilege - followed by the accused getting lynched in both cases - took place in the state.
He said, "Whenever elections are coming in major states, words like lynching, love jihad start coming to the fore. This is a part of a more sinister design. Lynching, riots are trademarks of BJP. Wherever they want to enter the political arena, they use such things."
