'One child law should be strictly enforced in India'

Senior BJP leader RK Sinha said that right now a lot of discussions are going on around population control. The government of Uttar Pradesh is also going to bring a bill. The rest of the state governments should also think the same way and the Centre should also take the initiative.

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader RK Sinha said that right now a lot of discussions are going on around population control. The government of Uttar Pradesh is also going to bring a bill. The rest of the state governments should also think the same way and the Centre should also take the initiative.

He has added that now the time has come that like China, husband and wife should plan for only one child. At least this should happen for the next fifty years until the population starts declining.

The UP government is going to bring a law on population control. The State Law Commission has started drafting the law for population control. After the implementation of the law in UP, parents of more than two children may be deprived of government facilities and subsidies.
