Gaya (Bihar): Twenty one days after the murder in China of Aman Nagsen, a resident of Gaya in Bihar, his body reached the native village Friday evening.
As soon as the body arrived, the atmosphere of the whole village turned gloomy. Aman's last rites are being performed Saturday in his native village.
Meanwhile, Pankaj Paswan, the uncle of the deceased Aman, has made serious allegations against the government. He said that the Indian government has only signed in bringing the body from China. He said that in reality the government was not serious about the matter. He said it was his family that had to work on bringing the body home.
"In the last 21 days, after seeing the attitude of the Government of India, it came to know that this government is anti-Dalit,” Paswan said. “Not a single representative of the government was present in this whole episode. The demand for performing the last rites with state honours was not even accepted. My son has been murdered as part of a conspiracy. If all this had happened at the time of elections, then an army of leaders would have stood up. We will continue the campaign till our son gets justice."

Pankaj Paswan said that the last rites of Nagsen are being performed in Kashthua village located in Mangrawan Panchayat of Paraiya block in Gaya district. With the help of villagers, a concrete block has been built on the banks of the Morhar river near the village where the last rites are being performed.
Aman Nagsen had gone to China's Tianjin University of Technology to study International Business Studies. He was murdered July 23 and his family was informed about this July 30. Since then, the family members have been appealing to the authorities to bring Aman's body home. After the body arrived, the family members accused the government of not taking the matter seriously.
