Ranchi (Jharkhand): Former India captain MS Dhoni's father and mother have tested positive for COVID-19 and have been admitted to Pulse Hospital in Ranchi.
The director of the hospital Dr Abhishek Jha, said that the condition of Mahendra Singh Dhoni's father and mother is stable adding that their oxygen level is stable.
He also said that they would be discharged from the hospital in a day or two.
"Parents of cricketer MS Dhoni have been admitted here at the hospital after testing positive for COVID19. Their oxygen level is stable," said the hospital while providing an update.

Meanwhile, new 5,080 covid cases were reported in Jharkhand on Tuesday taking the total number of cases in the state to 172,315.
The country reported 2,95,041 new COVID-19 cases, the highest till date. With the new additions, the total tally of cases in the country has increased to 1,56,16,130 with 21,57,538 active cases.
