Berhampur (Odisha): A woman who had gone missing from Ahmedabad four years back had been traced by her family members at Berhampur in Odisha.
The missing woman, who happened to be mentally unsound had landed at Berhampur. After receiving information about her after a long time, her family went to Odisha to bring her back.
Manisha, suddenly went missing and her family searched for her across Ahmedabad city before giving up. The woman is said to have boarded a train and reached Berhampur in Odisha.

As she was found mentally unsound, some hospital employees rescued her and gave her shelter in the Narmada Sishu Bhavan. Since then the woman had been staying there.
After Covid 19 pandemic, Debasish Mohanty, a social worker belonging to “Parichaya”, a non-Government voluntary organization, had come to Shishu Bhavan. During the time he came across the woman from Ahmedabad and enquired about her identity and her address.

After knowing that she belonged to Ahmedabad, Mohanty contacted some of his associates and informed the family members.
The family members expressed their gratefulness to Narmada Sishu Bhavan and the organization that helped trace her.
