Agitating farmers to take Uttar Pradesh by storm with Muzaffarnagar's Kisan Mahapanchayat

The Kisan Morcha is going to organise the 'Kisan Mahapanchayat' in Muzaffarnagar on September 5 to corner the government on the three agriculture laws and legalisation on MSP. All India Kisan Sabha general secretary Atul Kumar Anjan said that Kisan Morcha will announce its 'Mission UP' plan from the historic rally of Muzaffarnagar.

New Delhi: The Kisan Morcha, which has been protesting on the borders of Delhi for the last nine months, has put forward its demand for the repeal of three agricultural laws and formulation of a law on Minimum Support Price (MSP). The Kisan Morcha has made several announcements following the conclusion of a two-day convention in Delhi's Singhu border. On the completion of nine months of the farmers' movement on the Delhi-Haryana Singhu border, the United Kisan Morcha organised a two-day convention in which 2,500 to 3,000 farmer representatives from all the states took part.

The farmers' body is going to organise the 'Kisan Mahapanchayat' in Muzaffarnagar on September 5 to corner the government on the three agriculture laws and legalisation on MSP. Muzaffarnagar is also the home town of farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, who is making frequent trips to Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand to garner farmers support for the upcoming Kisan Mahapanchayat.

Addressing the media on behalf of Kisan Morcha, All India Kisan Sabha General Secretary Atul Kumar Anjan said that Kisan Morcha will announce its 'Mission UP' on September 5 from the historic rally of Muzaffarnagar. In a fiery statement, Atul Kumar Anjan said that the farmer leaders are once again warning the government that it should listen to the farmers at the earliest or else an atmosphere of anarchy may arise in the country.

The Atul Kumar Anjan has also given a call for a complete Bharat Bandh on September 25 He added that this Bharat Bandh will be the biggest bandh after Independence. He further said that more than 650 farmers have died during the ongoing agitation and their sacrifices will not be allowed to go in vain.

On the other hand, Rakesh Tikait, while addressing the media in Chandigarh, once again reiterated his point that the Modi government is not for the people or any party, but it has become the government of the corporate houses. He added that the central government is patting its back after increasing the prices of sugarcane by mere 5 paise per kg, but it's not seeing the hike in the rates of diesel, petrol and other essential things.
